Tal Verrar is a large Therin city-state located on the coast of the Sea of Brass.
It consists of several districts including:
- Great Gallery
- Portable Quarter
- Savrola
- Golden Steps
As well as 3 islands near the centre of the city which are home to the Alchemists', Artificers' and Merchants' guilds.
The Golden Steps[]
Located on the southern tip of the westernmost island of Tal Verrar, is a large golden stair leading up to what is known as the Sinspire. The largest and most notorious gambling den of the region. These steps are the most notable landmark of Tal Verrar as they are primarily visible from the Main Anchorage where many merchants dock their ships from afar. The light glinting off them can be seen by many other landmarks such as the Midden, and the Mon Magesteria on Castellana.
