Caellius Lucarno is a renowned poet and playwright who lived during the era of the Therin Throne and one of the only authors to have their works preserved in their entirety and prepared in new editions after the Great Burning. His known works include The Republic of Thieves, The Assassin's Wedding, The Ten Honest Turncoats, and The Empire of Seven Days and his style is supposedly based on the Espardri model. Lucarno's writing is studied at the Therim Collegiate alongside the poet Mercallor Mentezzo and his contemporaries. Critics argue that Lucarno's writing style is tawdry and appeals to much to a common and crass audience.[1]
